• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and account type (driver or employer).
• Identity Verification: Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and background check data for drivers.
• Location Data: GPS location during active delivery routes to provide real-time tracking.
• Payment Information: Bank account or payout details processed through secure third-party providers (Stripe, Plaid).
• Usage Data: App activity, route history, job postings, and delivery records.
• Communications: Messages between drivers and employers within the platform.

ESNTII operates in the healthcare delivery space. While Shipped Better itself is a technology platform and not a covered entity under HIPAA, all drivers acknowledge HIPAA privacy requirements during onboarding. We do not store or process protected health information (PHI). Drivers are strictly prohibited from photographing, recording, or retaining any patient data encountered during deliveries.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• With employers: Driver name, rating, and availability when accepting a job.
• With drivers: Employer business name and contact info for active jobs.
• With payment processors: Stripe and Plaid for secure payment handling.
• With SMS providers: Twilio for OTP verification codes.
• As required by law: To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption, two-factor authentication, and secure infrastructure to protect your data. All communications within the platform are encrypted. Payment data is handled exclusively by PCI-compliant third-party processors — we never store raw card or bank account numbers.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal information will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution.
